amazing work !

looking at the url on youtube confirms that he implemented this within the old il2 game engine limitations. at first i thought one of oleg's boB programmers might have leaked something to wet our appetite, but is somebody else playing with the old il2 version.

maybe oleg should give him a job :)

It looks like he took screen shots from the game and added 3d action to a 2d background...in some cases he tricks our eye into believing its all a 3d render, but the background is all 2d. In other words its not "in" the IL2 engine, its in a 3d animation program with screen shots of the game used as backdrops.

This guy obviously has a passion for what he does. These are the best kind for making the highest quality products...just like Oleg :)
Very enjoyable to watch.

Just remember. There is a big difference between producing a 3d overlay for a shot in Il-2 and actually implementing it in the engine. I don't mean to take away from the work (which is excellent), just don't expect to see this in BoB (even if Oleg does implement the skeletal model he licensed), and if you do see it, don't assume it didn't take a lot of work.

S!

Nice... but this spend too mutch time and i think FM/DM revision and another details still being the more important.

lovely idea there!

I would really love it if the game didn't stop after you bail or land.
