In response to the visitor message. I'm not too active because of pressing real-life commitments, i just pop in from time to time to help clean up a thread or two.

As for the ban, i didn't even know you were banned to begin with because i didn't ban anyone personally.

I just used the infraction system, post by post, and the way to do that is simple: don't look at usernames, look at the content of each post, if it breaks a rule it gets an infraction.

This way i don't risk making conscious judgement calls. The system helps me be impartial and moves the decision of who/if should be banned from moderator to user:
People know the rules, know that infractions are issued for breaking them and that certain point totals result in automatic bans. From that point on, if they get banned it's their own choice pretty much. I just hand out parking tickets.

P.S. Don't know if any changes occurred in mod. policy during my absence, for that you'd have to ask another moderator. Cheers.

I know. However, in interviews and from talking with us, didn't oleg say that whoever made RoF made a mistake in doing that? Whatever it is, I hope that oleg makes the right discision and doesn't make SoW online only like ROF

Well I Hope your right Philip, I got the impression that it was going to be an online kinda ROF experience, but then again it was difficult to grasp exactly what Oleg was saying.

Tree, over on sim-hq you said how the news that SoW didn't have a SPC was sad because it meant that SoW might go a similar way to RoF...?
I can tell you that, from what Oleg said, the fact that SoW has a dynamic campaign means that (like BoB2 Wings of Victory) the player is part of the bigger picture, almost like being involved in a war where the battle is on-going. I am not saying that SoW won't go the way of RoF, I don't know myself, but from playing BoB2 I do know about dynamic campaigns and it was always thought bad that il-2 didn't ship with one.
I hope this sheds some light on the matter. I mean as oleg said, there is still a chance that SoW could have a SPC but it will be 3rd party
