Default Greetings

Hi all!
My name is Anton Yudintsev, and I am head of Gaijin Entertainment, developer of "IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey".

First of all: Developing of this title doesn't mean anything bad for SoW:BoB at all. BoB is not slipping to other release date because of console game even for a day - it's just not the same market after all. There is no connection at all. So, if you waiting for SoW:BoB just relax and continue waiting.

Second, considering this:

But nothing related to SoW material, just Il-2 source?

I don't buy it.
I am very sorry to tell this - but what Oleg told you IS a fact.
What we've asked for (and what we recieved) was the source code of Il-2 (flight model and AI).

And it is all what we used.
We have no connection with BoB art/art source/source code at all.
If you think, it is not true - we are in a free country, go on.
But it is truth. We used only flight model and AI. Period.

Regarding why it is so.
Ok, you could think it is silly - but it is at least honest to customer.
It is not like 1C is selling one content twice - we made eveything from the scratch, and in our game there will be not only Britain, but other countries as well.
Also, I don't think in BoB there was something usable by 3rd party at all, when we start developing our game.

I am sorry again to finish all of these speculations about BoB and BoP, and if Oleg still developing BoB or he sells his soul to evil consoles, etc, etc.

Or you can continue in speculating and denying what Oleg and I telling everyone, if you want to - we live in a free world. Go on.
