Default A Fixing Idea

So apparently a lot of people, me included, have had problems with patching digital download copies bought through services such as impulse in my case. The error says that:

"The setup has detected that no version of Men of War is installed.
The update requires a previous version of the game to be installed. setup cannot continue."

My thoughts were to have the files for the patch available for download with out the setup for the patch. this way the files could just be copied and transferred to the correct locations in the Men of War folder. kind of like in this guide.

currently I am running the very basic version of men of war with no patches so I would need all the required ones in order. but I feel this idea would work.
