Thanks for your answer AHO. I read that solution on Moddb and tried that but it still won't work. I'm still getting the same black screen

How did you do the installations process exactly?

1. Installed DtS
2. Used VFS unpacker to unpack the archives, one at a time, everything without a problem
3. Unpacked the add-on, incl. english texts
4. Used backup.bat to backup the original files
5. Started the game with and without your avi's

As far as I know I didn't start the game before applying the add-on

That does'nt matter...


Do you a have a special version of the game (e.g. Gold Edition) or something like that. Perhaps a digital download version?

No just the basic retail version. I'll try to install everything again and see if I have any luck
