Default How do they...

...cope with you, playing CloD?

I mean, it´s not a usual hobby like playing soccer or reading a book or anything else... And when I think of me sitting in front of a PC, with that Freetrack-thing on my head, i can understand everyone who says: "What a freak!".

So I wonder how your relatives, friends, Wives, Girlfriends etc. react to your hobby?

In my case, my mother laughs at me and can hardly believe what i am doing.
If i talk about CloD with my girlfriend, she rolls her eyes and it´s better to change the topic immediatly. Some of my friends begun to show some interest ("woah, a head tracking-device, sounds cool"), but most of them can´t understand me at all...

So what about you?

Just click alt+tab and you'll go back to desktop. It's alot easier than trying to explain when you they come into the room. People can find something wrong with anything other people do. Putting others down, is a way inferior idiots make themselves to feel superior.

It's not too hard to put them in their place, but one thing is sure. When you put them in their place they will be alot madder at you than you are at them.

People do all sorts of things for entertainment, and many aren't very wholesome. It always amazed me how other people can be so condescending and arrogant about what you do, but the things they do are OK.

A little poem -- Therefore, ignore.

+1

I have mentioned this to my mates but before this I have accepted that when it comes to all things to do with aircraft I am a geek... who else would buy an expensive stick (Tarmac) and while waiting for it to be delivered buy a thrustmaster warthog lol... If this game dies I will be crying over my expensive purchases for the rest of my life

My wife is happy I'm in the house rather than out in a pub somewhere. And as I tell everyone that I think football is gay, they tend to leave me alone.
And I have a gun.

Football gay ?

Whats gay about watching 22 scantily clad athletic young boys and men running around chasing a ball and then all jumping naked into a bath together ?

I tell them "THERE's A WAR ON DAMIT" so give me some respect. I'm on the front line here so the rest of you can have a normal life. So back off and get me another beer.

Wars hell.
