Default Diablo III

S!

So how many of you got this one? I bit the bullet and bought the Collector's Edition with a lot of nice stuff inside. Installing it tomorrow at the infamous DFCK Weekend feat. Diablo III aka Kill the Mouse!

I like to play games too apart from Flight Sim, heard a lot about this but not sure if its for me? I tried World of Warcraft once and could not get into that at all.

I finished Legend of Grimrock this morning, I'm an old school gamer who played Dungeon Master back in the day and this was perfect, addictive gaming, good logic puzzles and dexterity needed, tactics came into it too, all for a very low price ... I hope they follow up with an add on or another title in the same vein.

Had my first death lvl 16 daemon hunter the annoying thing is that I didn't die in a fight I killed everyone and had to quickly do something but I had left my character in a poisonous gas.... Very peeved off!

There is an official Pathfinder MMORPG on its way.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...echnology-demo

Pathfinder for those unaware is the open source game D&D 3.5 turned into after the marketing whizz kids at Hasbro stuffed up official D&D 4.0 by creating a childish tabletop cross between WoW and Warhammer where players got to be "awesome and cool" from day one. The theory was it would sell more books to snotty nosed early teens, it probably did but traditional D&D fans abandoned it in droves.

In other words Pathfinder is oldschool D&D, where players need to know what they are doing to survive and never get handed all sorts of magical cheats from day one. Hopefully the online version of Pathfinder will carry this through and make it a game worth playing.

I'm not going to buy it for now... it's always the same scheme.

In this time I've not much free time, but some weeks I've installed "Path of Exile" as Beta tester (http://www.pathofexile.com/).
It's almost the same game but free.

Good to know.

I'm still playing an old DnD adventure using Pathfinder's rules (I own the rulebook and the bestiary) and we have still fun after almost 20 years of roleplay gaming.

Not only DnD 4.0 is for child... even the new version Warhammer RPG ends in that way.

Iit is odd that they had continued to esteem these qualities over those of other fighters in spite of the fact that they were of only secondary importance tactically. Thus it is doubly ironic that the Spitfire’s reputation would habitually be established by reference to archaic, non-tactical criteria.
