Default Removing Rad/Throttle/etc slider display?

How do you remove the sliders (Rad, Throttle, PP, etc) and replace them with text info?

Nothing in the manual or Key assignments........

#1. keep the Alt key pressed and with the mouse, click on the window in question.
You have now selected the window you want.

#2. Right-click now and you will see a small window with options

Some options control the content of the window
Other options control its appearance, transparency, font, color etc etc.

Experiment with it and I am sure it will do the job.

Cheers Grathos, the problem I have is that on the BF109-E3 I have no idea as to how 'open' or 'closed' the water coolant rad is (except for the temp gauge reading). Or is it just a two position rad cowling?

Removing the sliders and using text only tells me if the rad is fully closed or fully open. I though there was a way of showing rads (and Flap settings) as a percentage but may be I am wrong. The oil cooler Rad is fine and you can see just how open/shut it is.

The problem you have can not be fixed.

Only visual confirmation.

The Water Rad is working the same way as the prop pitch and the Flaps:
On/Off indicates the action - not the position.

Water rad is however easy to understand.
Inside the cockpit, on the left side you have the Throttle Stick
Opposite of it on the right side you have a nice rotating handle - This is the water rad manifold!
If you open/close you will see this handle rotating.
Count how many turns it has to do from fully open to fully close.
After that you will have a good idea how much you need to open it.

Happy flying!
