Default Request for 4.XX, new hotkeys

It would be nice to have a key to toggle HUD and another too toggle subtitles.

Conf.ini entries are too rigid, and if on a same game session I play an aircraft which doesn't require HUD at all (Corsair for example) and another one which requires it to check some commands position (P40 radiator position for example) it's nice to just use a hotkey, plus I don't know all cockpits by heart so i'd start with HUD on, check if I can see something moving in cockpit for the command I use, and if I see one toggle HUD off.

Same for subtitles, I understand English, French and Italian but I need them for other languages, I'd like to just switch them off when I don't need to read what's being said.

I think there was a requests thread but can't find it right now.

Thanks for reading, and maybe doing it for 4.14 ?

A hotkey would be convenient, but you can already select HUD options during the mission via the game's menu. During a mission, just press [Esc], then select Misc. Settings, then HUD, then select your options. Then rejoin the mission.

Better yet, do all that before you actually start the mission.

You can do the same with subtitles.

Thanks for workaround, I admit I had skipped it. It's not as convenient, but I'll use it while hoping for hotkeys

Is this like the 'H' key in Battle for Stalingrad? Basically all graphical helpers go away? So temporarily you hide the icons, the speed bar, the subtitles, basically anything that isn't graphically part of the sim itself?

I think it's a handy idea. I'm not sure how difficult the implementation is but it's not a bad idea. It's great for screen shot folks like myself... you can keep all of that stuff on but then you can remove it just for a moment when you want to snap a nice screen shot. Then you put it back on.

Good idea.

Default New command.

In radio commands, in this section of «navigation» we need a new command – «take the combat course» (Can come up with another name). When this command is executed, for bots, who are subordinate to player, the checkpoint, which stands in front of the reference point for the purpose, shall be deemed passed and subordinate bots go to attack the designated purpose. This happens when the player give the command "return to base" to bots. This command is particularly relevant in difficulty mode when realistic navigation is on or markers on the map is off. It is clear that, if there is no certainty that the checkpoint in front of purpose is passed, you should give this command in the area of purpose.
There are many reasons for which the player can go to the purpose without going through the previous checkpoint, and a fortiori when it is not visible markers on the map or checkpoints.
Sorry for mistakes in English.
