Default 'Off Runway' starts in CoD?

Has anyone established if we can at last have 'off runway' starts in the FMB in coops? That was one of my biggest niggles in IL2 1946 - placing your a/c take-off waypoint anywhere on the airfield made no difference - you were always placed on the runway.

And what happens in CoD with AI in the same situation? Do they now taxi to the runway? That would be amazing.
