Default Improved Sound

I improved the Movement,
the Landscape,
the Battle and
the Effects Sounds
Normal this sounds are very silent, now you can hear them VERY good!
When you now use a Fireball (or other), it makes now BUUUUM

Is there a reason that you've uploaded as a .EXE file?

Most mods are simply a replacement of existing files, and shouldn't require an auto-install executable... I'd be all over an upgrade to the sound, as currently only speech and music seems to come through very well, regardless of settings, but I'm also not one to just hit an [Go] on a program made by an unknown source. (Heck, I've seen enough friends and relatives kill multiple computers from the compunction to do just that...)

Are there settings within the .XMLs to up output, or did you have to tweak the .WAVs, themselves?

Hello darqrahl

Some do not like an exe, which I understand very well!
But I thought, for some it`s helpful.
I think, i upload a normal rar Version also, later
When you wants see, which files i change, the easiest way is, install
it in an empty folder, then you can move the files you want in your game,
also you can make a rar File self, after this you can deleted your exe.
I only change the following wav files
1) Movement
2) Battle
3) Effects
4) Landscape
Nothing is changed on xml or other files

Sorry, i did not change the music file!
But when you wants that also, i will do it!

Marlow

EDIT: I think the Music is okay and need no change!
EDIT2: I load up today again and delete the exe file, now there is a normal rar file at filefront

Thanks for the repack and upload, Marlow.

Gave it a runthrough, and along with Asadexes' 'Realistic Scale/Camera' Mod, I'm now very pleased with the look and feel of the game. In fact, I've had to pull back a bit on the Sound Effects slider, to keep from being overpowered by units moving about... which is fine by me.

Now, if I could just stop getting all my seige weapons killed by hidden packs of Orc Riders, I'd be happy. Heheheheh. But, at least I can hear them coming before they break out of cover and reduce my weapons to their base components.

Hey darqrahl

Thanks. Nice to hear that you like the better Effects

In the new upload toady i made some battle sounds more quiet, i mean
that some arrow sounds and also some sounds for dying were too shrill.
When you like the new battle Folder i will load it up at Rapidshare for you.

Yes, some movement sound can be a little to much. (Example,Horses on Sand)
I will change it and upload the new file in some hours.

Marlow

EDIT: I revised now the Sound for movement and upload all again!!
This Mod is finished, no longer i will to work at it, becauce with my Maps I have to do enough!
Okay, it`s early in the morning (03:10), time for sleeping
EDIT: I`am sooooo sad I worked so many hours and all for nothing!!
I load up my old folder and delete my changed folder. I must start again.

I`am ready!!!!!

It was no good idea to work so long at night

But now all is perfect and i`am happy
I'm sorry for those, which had download the Mod twice!

The Mod will be now Submit to FileFront, so i never can deleted it.
I tested it Ingame and the feel is now much better as before,
because no sound is more schrill.
And also i nomore like play without that great feeling of Sounds, what i missed
in the original Game.

Link for download is in post 2
