Arrow Patching Il-2 1946

When you install Il-2 1946 from CD, it will be version 4.07m. Since the release of version 4.07m, plenty of patches have been added. To bring you up to current status, you need to apply the following patches in the following order:

- 4.08m - can be found on the CD, install from there - in case you have a download version that comes without it, you can download from here
- 4.09m - download from here and install
- 4.09m skins (optional) - download from here and install
- 4.10m - download from here and install
- 4.11m - download from here and install
- 4.12m - download from here and install
- 4.12.1m http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=40532
- 4.12.2m http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=40926
The mission4today.com website has uploaded one megapatch, which will patch from version 4.07m to 4.10.1m. If you install this patch, you only need to add the patches that come thereafter.

since ubishop has changed site, and since direct2drive changed for gamefly, old downloaded versions of the game can't be activated. You must repurchase it through Ubisoft again, this time you get a DVD version at 4.07m, no activation, no cd key. You can also get the game on GOG.com for the same price of 9.99$ (usefull if you cannot get the ubisoft version because of your country), in case of a full system reinstallation. You can also use any working (a copy that you can start and play)stock copy of the game you might have as a backup. Those that have a physical DVD do not have any issues when reinstalling the game.

Should this also be listed for 4.10.1m?

This one is obsolete, cause everything from this fix patch is included in 4.11.

Just adding some info here:
I just downloaded from shop.ubi.com for $4.99 and it came 4.07m without 4.08 file.
If you are not from the USA, and you want to buy from their bogus shop, you are forced to lie your country and put it USA.

Here is the link for 4.08:

Some nice new flyable and ai planes, also some good game tweaks, especially like the toughened bridges.

BUT the usual problem that you can't add the new planes to the default offline campaigns. So adding the Re2000 to the Hungarian campaign (an obvious and correct choice surely?), results in an error message stating 'trying to fly a Russian plane in a German campaign'. It was the same last time with the Fokker DXXI and SM79.
